Gregory J.C.R. Romet has a litigation and advisory practice in the areas of law Administrative law (withdrawal / suspension of social assistance benefits), Insolvency law (legal debt restructuring of natural persons and the compulsory agreement) and general and special contract law within VANDIJK lawyers.
In addition, Gregory also focuses on advising SME entrepreneurs and freelancers on a wide range of corporate and financial related legal issues within VANDIJK lawyers. Before moving to the legal profession, Gregory worked for the Dutch financial institution supervisor, namely De Nederlandsche Bank. Gregory has also worked at ABN AMRO bank and as an interim lawyer at Rabobank. The legislation and regulations within the banking sector is therefore familiar territory for Gregory. Gregory has a thorough knowledge of civil (procedural) law, and masters the intricacies of conducting civil proceedings and summary proceedings. Gregory Romet graduated from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam with a specialization in business and financial law. Gregory is also a member of the Dutch Lawyers Association and the Young Litigation Lawyers Association.
